Tweed

I wanted to call this post something cool like "Tweedy Bird" or "Tweedy Gonzales," but none of those really made sense since I don't have any birds or sombreros or speedy mice in my outfit, so I just went with "tweed."  My creativity is apparently having a siesta.  Like yesterday's outfit, I wore this at work last week but never got a chance to take photos because it was too dark out, so I saved the outfit and took pics yesterday, hence the just-cut hair again.  Unusually, I think I actually didn't wear any jewelry with this outfit either.  Strange, I must have been running late.

More hair showing off

Hard to see in the other pics, but the shirt is actually dark heathered purple/eggplant

I'm Wearing
Gap heathered purple tee
J. Crew Factory navy/purple tweed skirt
Talbots taupe suede pumps
Gap Outlet army jacket (old)
Random scarf (really old, no idea)

I was glad to have this tweed skirt in my closet because it's tiding me over from splurging on a menswear blazer.  As I mentioned recently I really want a tweed or plaid blazer, however I don't foresee myself getting one soon because (a) this was the birthday of blazers, so I have plenty to work with for now (see below), and (b) I haven't really found any that I love yet - I tried H&M and didn't like the only one I saw, and I tried the Zara one I linked to in the Wish List post, which was okay but I didn't love the pattern.  Also linking up with The Pleated Poppy for WIWW!

Pics of the new navy blazer and birthday reflections are on the agenda for tomorrow, I promise!  :)
