Summer Swan Song

I liked this outfit when I wore it, and I suppose I still do, but I'm just kind of meh about looking at it now.  I think it's that it's finally starting to get chilly here and my mind is floating more into jeans, sweaters, and boots right now than pinstriped work pants and cardigans.  I will definitely be taking more pics of weekend outfits from now on - those are sure to be more fall-oriented than standard workwear.  In the meantime, I wore this outfit last week when it was still in the 70s here, so the light and airy pieces still felt appropriate.

I think because fall is such a big time for clothes, especially outerwear and other things that are hard to wear into the office, I really just want to be outside in the crisp air with jeans, boots, sweaters, and scarves.  Or maybe it's just because I really wanted to be wearing jeans all week...   Do you find your workwear more boring at certain times of the year?
